Provided is a tire position determination system capable of determining changes in tire mounting positions in a short time or in a simple configuration. Tire pressure detectors (4a-4d) includes a gravitational component force detected by an acceleration sensor (10) in a tire pressure signal (Stp) and transmits the tire pressure signal to a TPMS receiver (12). The TPMS receiver (12) compares a gravitational component force received when an IGSW18 is turned off with a gravitational component force received when the IGSW18 is turned on to determine whether the tire mounting position is changed before and after the IGSW18 is turned off or on. The TPMS receiver (12) sets the tire mounting position to no change when the gravitational component forces are identical against the four-wheel tires (2a-2d), and displays a current value as a tire mounting position on a display unit (16). The TPMS receiver (12) sets the tire mounting position to change when a gravitational component force for one of the four-wheel tires (2a-2d) is different from the remaining gravitational component forces, and performs the operations of displaying″determining tire position″or not, displaying the tire position on the display unit (16) of a driver′s seat. |
