PURPOSE: A device and a method for manufacturing an electrolyte for a vanadium redox flow battery by using electrolysis are provided to manufacture anolyte and catholyte of high purity without secondary treatment for removing impurities as impurities are not generated. CONSTITUTION: A device for manufacturing an electrolyte for a vanadium redox flow battery by using electrolysis includes first, second, and third electrolyzing devices. A method for manufacturing the electrolyte for a vanadium redox flow battery by using electrolysis includes the following steps of: primarily electrolyzing sulfuric acid solution in which sulfuric acid oxide vanadium is dissolved with the first electrolyzing device; secondarily electrolyzing second catholyte obtained in the primary electrolysis process; and discharging and electrolyzing third anolyte and third catholyte obtained in the secondary electrolysis process.
