PURPOSE: An external antenna for a vehicle is provided to increase the receiving efficiency of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: An external antenna for a vehicle(100) includes: a printed circuit board(130) mounted at the bottom; a patch antenna(140) electrically connected to the printed circuit board, which also sends and receives an RF(Radio Frequency) signal; a raising member(150) raising the patch antenna up to the determined height from the printed circuit board by being positioned between the printed circuit board and the patch antenna; and an external housing(120) coupled to the bottom. The raising member is provided with a hole which receives a feeder for electrically connecting between the printed circuit board and the patch antenna. |
