A computer system and an audio environment setting control method thereof are provided to offer a user interface(UI) so that a user easily set up the basic audio environment of the computer system in case the input of a audio codec is sensed. An audio environment offering unit(220) provides a user interface for enabling a user to set up the audio environment to be applied to a computer system(200) in case a USB audio codec(100) is inputted from the outside while a sound source file is reproduced by using an audio codec set basically in the computer system. An audio environmental changing unit(230) changes an audio environment setup value of the computer system based on the result inputted to the user interface. The user interface provides an audio environment setting window which includes check boxes of each audio codec for the input of audio codec information applicable to the computer system. |
