The present invention relates to a method for correcting a tilt of a stereo image and, more specifically, to a method for correcting a deviation (tilt) of a stereo image by only using addition, subtraction, and shift operations without using a trigonometric table. Particularly, the present invention relates to a method for correcting a tilt of a stereo image which can produce a stereoscopic image by providing an image correction method as a hardware to correct a photographed stereo image in real time. The method of the present invention can minimize the time required for the correction of the stereo image using a pipelined architecture operation and an image segmentation correction method using a line buffer, thereby improving reliability and competitiveness in the field of image processing, particularly in the field of stereoscopic image production using a stereo image and in the field similar or related thereto. |
