The present invention relates to cosmetics containing an extract extracted from roots and stems of Eurycoma longifolia and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention provides the Eurycoma longifolia extract as a natural substance which does not cause safety and stability problems for skin and has excellent effects of eliminating free radicals, anti-oxidative activity, and whitening. The present invention also provides the cosmetics containing the Eurycoma longifolia extract having anti-elastase and anti-hyaluronidase effects so fundamentally preventing skin aging, and the extract can be added to the cosmetics such as a softening tonic (toner), a nourishing tonic (lotion), nourishing cream, massage cream, a facial essence, a facial mask, an emulsified foundation. |
