<p>The folding apparatus for a printing press has a cutting cylinder with at least one cutter, at least one fold blade, and a fold blade cylinder with several puncturing devices. The fold blade cylinder (10) on both sides of the folding blade and on both sides of the puncturing devices has intermeshing rake-like elements (14,15). Depending upon the angular spacing between adjacent fold blades and puncturing devices, forming gaps (16) between the rake-like elements are covered by a film-like or web-form element (18) to provide an approximately continuously closed transporting surface.</p> |
