The present invention relates to an external heat exchanger of a heat pump system for vehicle, and more particularly, to a heat pump system for vehicle, which is used as a condenser for cooling and as an evaporator in heating in a heat pump system applied for cooling and heating of electric cars or hybrid cars. The external heat exchanger is configured to include a condenser section, a subcooling section, a vapor-liquid separator, and two direction conversion valves, enabling a heat exchanger medium that has passed through the condenser section to be subject to heat exchange in cooling while passing through the vapor-liquid separator to the over-cooling section and to be subject to heat exchange while passing through the subcooling section without going through the vapor-liquid separator, thereby reducing pressure loss of the heat exchanger medium and improving performance of the heat pump system. |
