The present invention relates to a darbepoetin alpha refining method which selectively separates only a structural form having a high content of high sialic acid from a mixture of the structural form of a darbepoetin alpha having various sialic acid contents. The new barbepoetin alpha refining method of the present invention, which is convenient and easy to be applied to a production, is able to not only obtain the darbepoetin alpha with high purity but also remarkably increase productivity in response to the improvement of process efficiency when manufacturing the bardepoetin alpha in bulk by the present invention.
