The present invention relates to a vehicle with a traffic-lane change assisting function and a traffic-lane changing method thereof. The traffic-lane changing method according to the present invention includes a step of converting videos filmed by a camera installed on a vehicle during of the vehicle driving into top-view videos and outputting the top-view videos with a vehicle icon; a step of sensing the existence of other vehicles in neighboring traffic lanes and measuring the distance to other vehicles when a change in a traffic lane of the vehicle is sensed; and a step of outputting warnings in the left and right sides of the vehicle icon stage by stage based on the result of sensing the existence of other vehicles and the measured distance to other vehicles. Additionally, the traffic-lane changing method may also include a step of outputting the top-view videos with the neighboring traffic lanes and the width of the neighboring traffic lanes. According to the present invention, the traffic-lane changing method warns a driver of danger stage by stage when the driver changes the traffic lane, thereby contributing to safe driving. |
