The present invention relates to an image display device, an image transmission device, and a method for operating the same. The method for operating an image display device comprises the steps of receiving a first image from a first source; receiving second to fourth images from sources different from the first source; displaying a 3D image using received left eye image and right eye image; restoring the lost image using a previously stored depth map when an error greater than a tolerance occurs in one of the received left eye image and right eye image; and displaying the 3D image using the restored image, thereby improving user convenience in use. |
