The present invention relates to a device and a method for sharing a graphic image between terminals through graphic data transmission. The device for sharing a graphic image between terminals according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a detection unit for detecting whether a first terminal having a graphic processing unit (GPU) outputs a graphic image on a screen using the GPU; a collection unit for collecting, in real time, graphic data transmitted to the GPU to output the graphic image if the output of the graphic image is detected by the detection unit; and a communications unit for transmitting the graphic data collected by the collection unit to a second terminal at certain time intervals using a wired/wireless communications network. The second terminal receives the graphic data from the first terminal to output the graphic image through a GPU of the second terminal and simultaneously transmits a control command collected in the second terminal to the first terminal so that the first terminal can control applications related with the command.
