PURPOSE: An equipment adding method of a high availability (HA) system is provided to effectively add equipment to the HA system. CONSTITUTION: An HA link of an HA system is connected to the HA link of new equipment (S310). Master equipment updates the HA setup by connecting to the new equipment (S320). The master equipment synchronizes the other equipment of the HA system by broadcasting the updated HA setup (S330).
