The present invention relates to a headlamp using dual shields. The headlamp comprises a lamp; a rotatable shield unit for interrupting light emitted from the lamp to form a beam pattern; and a linear movable shield unit disposed on an optical path of the light emitted from the lamp to interrupt a region of the light being emitted to an oncoming vehicle, thereby forming a dark zone corresponding to the oncoming vehicle. The linear movable shield unit is linearly moved along a longitudinal direction of the rotatable shield unit. Therefore, since the dark zone is formed only for the oncoming vehicle, stability of short-distance illumination can be improved. |
