The present invention provides a wire electrical discharge machine (EDM) with an improved structure. The wire EDM comprises an upper arm, which guides the transfer direction of a wire transferred from a tension roller; an upper guide, which provides power to machine basic materials by being coupled with the lower end of the upper arm and connecting the transferred wire; an anode cylinder, which is equipped in the upper end of the upper arm and provides a positive current to the wire; an air supply unit, which is equipped in the lower part of the anode cylinder and provides air; a tension unit, which is equipped in the upper part of the upper guide and includes a cathode cylinder providing a negative current to the wire; a wire cutting unit, which is equipped in the upper arm between the cathode cylinder and the upper guide; and a pipe unit, which moves upwards and downwards in order to guide the wire transferred from the anode cylinder to the upper guide. |
