Disclosed is a method for determining a malfunction in a solenoid valve module of an electric booster system. The solenoid valve module includes a solenoid NO valve opening and closing a hydraulic line between a sub master cylinder and a main master cylinder and a solenoid NC valve opening and closing a hydraulic line between the sub master cylinder and a pedal simulator. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for determining a malfunction in a solenoid valve module of an electric booster system, calculating a change in the pressure of a pedal simulator with respect to the displacement of a pedal and determining that a solenoid NC valve is malfunctioning when the calculated change is equal to or greater than the maximum value of the change in the pressure of the pedal simulator with respect to the displacement of the pedal in a normal condition, can be provided. According to another aspect of the present invention, a method for determining a malfunction in a solenoid value module of an electric booster system, determining that a solenoid NO valve is malfunctioning if the pressure of a pedal simulator according to the displacement of a pedal is equal to the pressure of a master cylinder, can be provided. |
