The present invention relates to an optical cable connection box effectively maintaining the internal confidential of a connection box and including a packing unit where a cable is mounted easily. An optical cable connection box according to the present invention includes: a case unit having a plurality of through holes to allow the optical cable to be introduced into the inside in order for the connection of an optical cable and a mounting rib protruding in an outside direction to have a hollowness connected to the through hole; and a packing unit installed at the case unit to prevent water or moisture from penetrating the inside of the case unit through the through hole in the case unit. The packing unit includes: a sealing member inserted into the hollowness of the mounting rib to block the through hole and including a hollowness through which an optical cable passes; and a fixing cap inserted into the hollowness of the sealing member at the rear of the sealing member and pressing the rear of the sealing member toward the front to compress the sealing member and extending the external diameter. The fixing cap includes a retaining hook inserted to a fixing groove where the mounting rib is formed and maintaining the sealing member to be pressed without separating the fixing cap from the mounting rib. |
