The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing iron-based diffusion bonding powder, including the steps of spraying water onto molten iron to produce ferrous powder with the surface being oxidized; uniformly mixing the ferrous powder with the surface being oxidized and manganese oxide powder; reducing the ferrous powder and the manganese oxide powder in a furnace under reducing atmosphere to diffusion-bond the manganese oxide power on the surface of the ferrous powder; and crushing the diffusion-bonded powder.
