<p>Composition comprises an aqueous and/or alcoholic extract of Kalanchoe pinnata. ACTIVITY : Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Matrix metalloproteinase 1 inhibitor. The ability of the composition to inhibit matrix metalloproteinase 1 was tested in human dermal fibroblast. The results showed that the extract of Kalanchoe pinnata exhibited an inhibition rate of 78% at 0.05%.</p>
