The invention provides a foreign substance discharging device and a paper sheet handling device, which can be used for reliable discharging of foreign substances. In the invention, a lower side of an accommodation part is provided with a plurality of belt wheels under the condition of maintaining the state of paper sheet accommodation. A conveying belt is disposed on the plurality of belt wheels, and can be used to carry the foreign substances falling from the accommodation part, and is provided with a flat part, which can be used to convey the foreign substances toward a foreign substance outlet side and a foreign substance return side opposite to the outlet side. A control part can be used to control a belt driving part in order to convey the foreign substances toward the foreign substance outlet side, therefore the conveying belt can rotate with the plurality of belt wheels along one rotating direction, and can be used to control a belt driving part in order to convey the foreign substances toward the foreign substance return side, therefore the conveying belt can rotate with the plurality of belt wheels along the other rotating direction. In addition, a vibration part can be controlled, therefore the flat part of the conveying belt can vibrate. The superposition of the foreign substances can be destroyed by the vibration of the flat part of the conveying belt, therefore the foreign substances can be conveyed outward and discharged reliably. |
