<p>Disclosed are a keyboard for the visually handicapped and an information recognition system using the same, enabling the visually handicapped to swiftly and correctly input letters and numbers. The keyboard for the visually handicapped and the information recognition system using the same comprises: a keyboard including an input part having Korean and English input keys, number keys and function keys for inputting information, and a keypad for inputting the letters and the numbers in a touch manner; and a key recognition device for recognizing keys inputted via the keypad of the keyboard for the visually handicapped and displaying the letters and the numbers corresponding to the recognized keys on a screen, wherein a touchscreen and a recognition device capable of recognizing vertical positions and horizontal positions on the touchscreen are added in the keyboard for the visually handicapped, thereby enabling the visually handicapped to conveniently and correctly input information.</p> |
