<p>The present invention relates to a red phosphorescent compound in which pyridine and quinoline are coordinate covalent bonded to metallic elements as main ligands, and to an organic electroluminescent device using the same. The red phosphorescent compound according to the present invention has enhanced color purity and internal quantum efficiency, thereby having drastically improved luminous efficiency. Therefore, an organic electroluminescent device with high efficiency can be obtained when using the red phosphorescent compound as a dopant in a luminous layer of the organic electroluminescent device.</p> |
