<p>The present invention relates to duplex stainless steel and a manufacturing method thereof. The duplex stainless steel consists of 24 to 26 wt% of chromium (Cr), 6.0 to 8.0 wt% of nickel (Ni), 3.0 to 4.0 wt% of molybdenum (Mo), 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of tungsten (W), 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of copper (Cu), 0.24 to 0.32 wt% of nitrogen (N), and remaining amount of Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein contents of Mo and W are in the range of 4.1 to 4.6. Ferrite and austenite phases exist in the duplex stainless steel.</p> |
