PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic disk and magnetic head inspection devices that prevent increase in test time and decrease in precision in positioning a magnetic head during test and that can cool a heat generating part.SOLUTION: A magnetic disk inspection device includes one or more cooling mechanisms 12-1 to 13-5 for cooling a heat generating part, a cooling mechanism control unit 14 for controlling operation of the cooling mechanisms individually, and a device control unit 11 for controlling operation of each part of the device. The device control unit individually determines operation states of the cooling mechanisms according to an operation condition of each part of the device and individually controls operation of the cooling mechanisms through the cooling mechanism control unit.
