<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismically-isolated base leg of a power-generating building, which prevents the destruction and collapse of the building, without transmission of a seismic ground motion to the building, by automatically adjusting a period of fluctuations caused by the seismic ground motion.SOLUTION: Base isolation is performed by converting a seismic ground motion to kinetic energy by using a seismically-isolated base leg 18 made of a stabilizer 16 placed on a ground surface 8, a ball 1 fitted into the stabilizer 16 and a cylinder 2 fitted into a top surface of the ball 1. Furthermore, the cylinder 2 is provided with a turbine blade 10, and the turbine blade 10 is rotated by wind power or water power to perform power generation.</p> |
