<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper having excellent productivity and anti-counterfeit effect by forming a watermark pattern in an ordinary coating treatment step in a jet fountain type coating device.SOLUTION: The coated paper and its production method are characterized in that, in a jet fountain type coating device, the circumferential face of a metallic roll or a backing roll 2-a-1 is provided with a pattern made of recessed parts and protecting parts, thus the amount of a coating liquid scraped off with a doctor blade is made different, and a watermark pattern is formed on paper after coating treatment and spreading treatment.</p> |
