PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a printed liner or printed corrugated cardboard capable of preserving tactile textures of raw papers and yielding excellent printed ink color development characteristics and printed surface finishes.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a printed liner or printed corrugated cardboard, at least a partial region of the surface of a liner or corrugated cardboard is coated with a treatment liquid including a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt and a cationic thickener and then printed. It is desirable for the coating rate of the water-soluble polyvalent metal salt to be at least 0.15 g/m.
