PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting fitting for a lighting apparatus, capable of reasonably and rigidly connecting the straight-tube lighting apparatus to be attached to a lower surface of a lighting cover, and the lighting apparatus.SOLUTION: Belt-like reflectors 21 having a lying U-shaped cross-section are provided in a lighting apparatus 20. A socket 22 for a straight tube lamp P to be attached to longitudinal both ends of the reflectors 21 is provided. A connector 23 for supplying power to the socket 22 is provided. Pairs of downward crooked abutting pieces 21A are formed in the longitudinal both ends of the reflectors 21, respectively. A connecting fitting 1 includes: an elastic belt-plate-like connecting body 2 to be fitted to the periphery of a longitudinal end part of the reflectors 21; and a pair of insertion holes 3 drilled so as to allow the pairs of crooked abutting pieces 21A overlapped to be inserted into the connecting body 2. The connecting body 2 is provided in the connecting fitting 1, and is fitted to the longitudinal both ends of the reflectors 21 contacted with each other. The insertion holes 3 into which the overlapped crooked abutting pieces 21A are to be inserted are provided. |
