<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and a display device, in which degradation in reliability is suppressed by reducing burning in a detection electrode caused by electrostatic charges accumulating in a cover film.SOLUTION: An input device 3 includes: a substrate 21 having an input region Eand a non-input region Eplaced to surround the input region E, on a major surface 21a thereof; a plurality of detection electrodes 31 which are disposed on the major surface 21a of the substrate 21 to overlap the input region Eand which detect changes in a capacitance between the electrode and input means close to the input region E; a destaticizing wiring line 33 which is set to a given potential and is disposed on the major surface 21a of the substrate 21 overlapping the non-input region Eso as to surround the input region E; and a cover film 36 which is disposed in an area from above the plurality of detection electrodes 31 to above the destaticizing wiring line 33.</p> |
