Provided are a cloud platform application deployment method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving an application deployment request sent by a cloud service consumption device, the application deployment request comprising an identifier of an application to be deployed and information about a computing resource allocated for the deployed application of the cloud service consumption device; and according to the information about the computing resource allocated for the deployed application, determining the existing computing resource allocated for the deployed application of the cloud service consumption device by a cloud service server, and deploying the application to be deployed using the existing computing resource. By using the existing computing resource to deploy a sharing node, the cloud platform application deployment method in the embodiments of the present invention can reduce the costs of a user, and improve the use efficiency of computing resources.
