摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an electrode material improved in output characteristics, and to provide a power storage device including the electrode material.SOLUTION: The method of producing an electrode material in which a lithium cobalt oxide is supported by a carbon material comprises: a preparation step of preparing a reaction solution containing the carbon material and a material source of the lithium cobalt oxide; a precursor supporting step of applying shear stress and centrifugal force to the reaction solution, thereby causing the carbon material to support the precursor of the lithium cobalt oxide; and a heat treatment step of heat-treating the carbon material supporting the precursor to obtain a nano-sized lithium cobalt oxide. The electrode density of the obtained electrode material is set in the range of 2.5 g/cc or less, thereby improving output characteristics.
