PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrosilylation reaction-crosslinkable silicone rubber powder having low platinum content, which can be produced by using simple steps and the platinum metal content of which is 3.5 or lower ppm by mass of the mass of the silicone rubber powder, and to provide a method for producing the hydrosilylation reaction-crosslinkable silicone rubber powder having low platinum content.SOLUTION: The method for producing the hydrosilylation reaction-crosslinkable silicone rubber powder having low platinum content comprises a step of washing original hydrosilylation reaction-crosslinkable silicone rubber powder with an aqueous solution which contains at least one surfactant and is warmed to 30-99°C. The platinum metal content of the hydrosilylation reaction-crosslinkable silicone rubber powder obtained by the production method is 3.5 or lower ppm by mass. The hydrosilylation reaction-crosslinkable silicone rubber powder having low platinum content and applications (including cosmetic raw materials and cosmetics) thereof are provided.
