<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tether clip which engages a garnish with a vehicle body pillar and releases the garnish from the vehicle body pillar without causing damages to the garnish and prevents scattering of the garnish when an air bag body is expanded.SOLUTION: A tether clip 4 engages a pillar garnish, which covers a vehicle body pillar for storing an air bag body from a passenger compartment side, with the vehicle body pillar and includes: an inner engagement part 40a which is engaged with the pillar garnish; an outer engagement part 40b which is engaged with the vehicle body pillar; a coupling part 40c which couples the inner engagement part 40a with the outer engagement part 40b; and a wire 49b which connects the inner engagement part 40a with the outer engagement part 40b. The coupling part 40c is formed so as to be fragile against a pressing force generated when the inflated and expanded air bag body presses the garnish.</p> |
