PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a random number having high randomness with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A master (for example, a motor control microcomputer 32) requests predetermined processing from a slave (for example, a battery control microcomputer 12) by data communication. The master starts an operation of a counting part and increases (or decreases) a count value in a predetermined period before receiving a response to the processing request from the slave. The master acquires the count value of the counting part at prescribed at least one acquisition timing after starting to receive the response to the processing request from the slave, and generates a random number by using the acquired at least one count value. |
