PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component of a bicycle including an aluminum body and a composite material body, and having optimum characteristics in relation to both of corrosion prevention and adhesion between the aluminum body and the composite material body; and to provide a production method of the component.SOLUTION: In a bicycle component such as a rim including, for example, an aluminum body (22) and a composite material body (24) coupled with a first surface portion of the aluminum body, the first surface portion is subjected to an oxygen removal surface treatment, an adhesive is applied to at least a part of the first surface portion in order to allow the aluminum body (22) to adhere to the composite material body (24), a second surface portion of the aluminum body (22) is subjected to an oxidation surface treatment, and then a fixing treatment of an oxide is performed. |
