PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid packaging container which is excellent in handleability and stability achieved when being stacked and is sanitary.SOLUTION: An outer box for housing an inner bag for a liquid, which has an outlet/inlet, is formed into a hexahedral shape. A first upper extension plate extending from a first side plate comprises: a support plate part and a first upper flap part which extend from portions where an upper edge of the first side plate is positioned at different heights; and a connection part which connects the support plate part with the first upper flap part. An opening is formed between the support plate part and the first upper flap part. A swing plate extending from an upper edge of a second side plate 32 which is located adjacent to the first side plate comprises: a cover plate part 54 which covers the support plate part and defines a top surface with the first upper flap part; and an insertion piece which closes the opening.
