PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rattle stopping device for sliding door that has high strength against external force applied to a door panel in its thickness direction, and is rigid and safely usable.SOLUTION: A rattle stopping device for sliding door includes: a rail member which is fitted to a door panel and arranged along a lower end of the door panel; a guide member which is engaged with the rail member slidably along the rail member; a pair of slide stopping members which is fitted to the rail member and stops the guide member from sliding along the rail member; and a thin plate type base member which is fixed to a floor. A recessed groove is formed in a side face of the guide member in parallel with a sliding direction of the guide member, the base member is provided with a projection streak capable of being inserted into and coupled with the recessed groove. The guide member abuts on one of the pair of slide stopping members to stop the guide member from sliding along the rail member, and then the guide member moves as the door panel moves, so that the recessed groove of the guide member and the projection streak of the base member are coupled by insertion with and decoupled from each other. |
