<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an image display apparatus which when an image display apparatus is manufactured by stacking an image display member and a translucent cover member arranged on the surface side thereof through a translucent curable resin layer, photocures a photocurable resin composition between a light-shielding layer and the image display member without using a thermal polymerization process and can cancel a level difference between the light-shielding layer and the surface of the translucent cover member, and can manufacture the image display apparatus only by a photopolymerization process.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing an image display apparatus, a liquid photocurable resin composition 3 which contains a tackifier and a photopolymerization initiator and does not contain a thermal polymerization initiator is applied on the surface of a translucent cover member 2 including a light-shielding layer 1 or the surface of an image display member so that the thickness of the resin composition is thicker than the thickness of the light-shielding layer, and then is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays to form a translucent curable resin layer. Subsequently, an image display apparatus is obtained by stacking the image display member and the translucent cover member.</p> |
