This electric vehicle (1) is provided with: a vehicle body (10) having a head pipe (5), which supports a steering shaft, and a main frame (11), which extends from the head pipe (5) to the rear; an electric motor (42) that generates traveling motive power for driving vehicle wheels (2, 3); and a battery case (20) that, in a battery space (S1) therewithin, houses a battery (40) that stores DC power for supplying to the electric motor (42). The battery case (20) has a casing main body (31) and a reinforcing frame (32) that is provided to the casing main body (31) and reinforces the main frame (11). The reinforcing frame (32) is affixed to the main frame (10) by means of fasteners (108, 109). |
