<p>The invention relates to a tread (10) for a tyre designed to equip a powered axle of a heavy truck with thickness E, said tread having a rolling surface (40) designed to come into contact with a roadway, said tread having: - at least two main slots (2) oriented circumferentially, dividing the tread into an intermediate part and edge parts, said main slots (2) having depths at most equal to the total thickness of the tread, - a plurality of transverse slots (3) dividing at least the intermediate part to form a plurality of units (4), - each unit (4) of the intermediate part being provided with at least one transversely oriented incision (5), said transverse incision (5) having a depth less than or equal to the depth of the main circumferential slots (2), said tread being such that at least one wearing course - said wearing course extending between the rolling surface in new condition and at least 50% of the thickness E of the tread, is made up of a rubber composition with a base of at least 90 parts per hundred of elastomer (phe), isoprene elastomer, carbon black as a reinforcing filler and a cross-linking system, and for which the dispersion of the filler in the elastomer matrix has a Z score greater than or equal to 90.</p> |
