The fuel injection valve has housing (1) in which a fuel pressure chamber is formed. A piston-shaped valve needle (7) is arranged in fuel pressure chamber. A nozzle seat (8) is provided for opening and closing an injection port (10). A guide pin (15) is provided for projecting at the nozzle seat end into the pressure chamber. The nozzle needle is provided with a recess (17) on the nozzle seat end to receive the guide pins, such that the nozzle needle on the guide pin is guided with longitudinal movement.
