PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device capable of suppressing occurrence of a situation in which normal interruption cannot be performed due to arcs generated during current interruption being connected via a magnetic member.SOLUTION: A relay device comprises: a plurality of fixed terminals each including a fixed contact point; a movable contact maker including a movable contact point; and a regulator configured to regulate movement of the movable contact maker by abutting against a surface of the movable contact maker on the side of the fixed terminals. The relay device further comprises: a driving member configured to move the movable contact maker in a first direction in which the movable contact maker approaches each of the fixed terminals and a second direction opposite to the first direction; a first container having insulating properties; and a second container which forms an airtight space containing the movable contact maker and each of the fixed contact points together with the first container and the fixed terminals. The relay device comprises: a magnetic member fixed to the regulator; and a protection member having insulating properties and covering at least a part of a first surface region formed of a part of a surface of the magnetic member that can be directly viewed from each of the fixed contact points. |
