PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing accumulation of rounding errors caused by bilinear interpolation processing performed in motion compensation, in an image encoding method in which intensity values of luminance or color difference are quantized as integers.SOLUTION: In relation to P frames used for unidirectional motion compensation prediction, two kinds of the P frames such as P+ frames 503, 507 for rounding up a value obtained by adding 0.5 to an integer, and P- frames 505, 509 for rounding down a value obtained by adding 0.5 to an integer are prepared. |
