A shock absorber includes a first cylinder portion, a second cylinder portion, a first piston portion arranged in an internal space of the first cylinder portion, a second piston portion arranged in an internal space of the second cylinder portion, a first rod portion connected to the first piston portion, and a second rod portion provided between the first piston portion and the second piston portion. The second rod portion has a stiffness lower than the stiffness of the first rod portion. When the first piston portion moves toward the one end portion side of the first cylinder portion, the first rod portion moves into the first cylinder portion so that the volume of the internal space of the first cylinder portion decreases, while the second piston portion moves along with the first piston portion so that the volume of the first chamber of the second cylinder portion increases. |
