This invention relates to power engineering. The aim of the invention is to optimize the specific energy performance and the weight and dimensional characteristics of a device for generating electrical energy using a gravitational field, and more particularly to provide for constant power at the generator output by enabling the continual rotation of the generator, and to permit a reduction in the overall weight of the device. The device for generating electrical energy provides for the production of electrical energy using a low-speed generator that converts the mechanical rotational energy of the outer frame of a gyroscope in a two-axis gimbal suspension (a balanced gyroscope with three degrees of freedom), which precesses as a result of interaction with the gravitational field of the planet, into electrical energy.
