The present invention relates to a bearing-type mat for preventing growing weeds, which is installed in a newly constructed roadside, capable of being easily installed in the newly constructed roadside, preventing a mat for preventing growing weeds from being split, and preventing a bonded joint from coming off. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a construction method for the mat for preventing growing weeds in a newly constructed roadside comprises the steps of: preparing for the mat for preventing growing weeds, which is arranged near to a curb in one end and has the other end with a constant width being located in a slope, and which longitudinally has guardrail support insertion holes at constant intervals; longitudinally connecting block bars for fixing inner and outer mats in both end parts of the mat; covering the roadside and the slope with the mat after inner and outer furrows are formed at the position where the curb is adjacent and at the slope respectively and after the block bars are arranged for fixing the mat in the inner and outer furrows; and fixing the mat to the ground by inserting a mat fixing ring through a guardrail support and then inserting the ring into the guardrail support insertion holes. The mat fixing ring comprises a ring-shaped flange; a ring cylindrical unit, which is extended toward the inner circumferential surface of the ring flange; and multiple ring fixing pins, which protrude downwards at constant intervals in the lower end of the ring cylindrical unit and have a sharp point. |
