PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus for obtaining an accurate tracking result of a region of interest.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus comprises a setting unit 172 and a tracking unit 173. The setting unit 172 sets a two-dimensional or three-dimensional interest region in ultrasound image data of at least one time phase from among the video data of two-dimensional or three-dimensional ultrasound image data captured with an area including a moving tissue as an imaging target. The tracking unit 173, which serves as an estimation unit, acquires first positional information of a region estimated as the interest region on the basis of the motion information and second positional information of a region estimated as the interest region on the basis of information other than the motion information, from the ultrasound image data of the remaining time phases other than the at least one time phase in a section in which the video data was captured. The tracking unit 173 acquires, as the positional information of the interest region, positional information which combined the first positional information and the second positional information on the basis of a reliability indicator relating to the reliability of the motion information. The tracking unit 173 then tracks the interest region. |
