摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predicting method that can predict change in electricity storage quantity of an electricity storage device in a predetermined period in consideration of various conditions according to residential houses in order to optimize panel size of a solar panel and capacity of the electricity storage device or the like.SOLUTION: The predicting method performs: a first step of calculating predicted electricity production Ep(t) of a private electric generator for one prediction period that is one of predetermined periods divided into a plurality of unit periods; a second step of calculating electricity consumption Ec(t) predicted to be consumed by an electricity consuming apparatus; and a third step of calculating value determined by adding a difference after deduction of the electricity consumption Ec(t) from the electricity production Ep(t) to electricity storage quantity BT(t) as electricity storage quantity BT(t+1) at the time of ending the prediction period. All of the unit periods are set as the prediction periods in sequence from the starting time of the predetermined periods through the ending time thereof and the first step, the second step and the third step are repeated for the respective periods so as to predict change in electricity storage quantity in the predetermined periods.
