PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device which achieves battery charge by charging stands having different standards at low cost by relaying control signals related to charge between a vehicle and a charge stand which have different DC charge standards.SOLUTION: A relay device 5 which relays control signals related to charge between a vehicle 4 in which a battery 41 is mounted and a charge stand 1 which charges the battery 41 by supplying direct current through a charge cable 2 has: an analog control communication section 12b which transmits/receives analog control signals with the vehicle 4; a CAN communication section 12c which transmits/receives the control signals with the vehicle 4 according to a CAN communication protocol; a pilot signal communication section 32d which transmits/receives a pilot signal of a rectangular wave with the charge stand 1; an in-band communication section 33 which transmits/receives the control signal superimposed on the pilot signal; and a control section 32a which controls operation of each communication section.
