<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition useful for treating IL-31 mediated inflammation including atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug-induced allergic reaction, skin-tropic virus and virus related pruritus, white spot, skin T cell lymphoma, alopecia areata, acne rosacea, acne vulgaris, prurigo nodularis, and bullous pemphigoid as well as a novel composition derived from an antigen binding site of an immunoglobulin having affinity for IL-31.SOLUTION: Provided is a monoclonal antibody capable of specifically binding to human IL-31 or a composition containing an antigen-binding fragment of an immunoglobulin having affinity for IL-31. The monoclonal antibody may be the amino acid sequences of the variable regions of the monoclonal antibody, and these monoclonal antibodies or antibody fragments in conjunction with a human IgG4 Fc molecule.</p> |
